The Election Commission announced that the Mizoram Assembly Election Results 2023 vote counting has been rescheduled. Instead of December 3, 2023 as initially planned, the counting will now take place on December 4, 2023, one day later.

This decision, which was made public on Friday, was made in response to numerous submissions that the Commission had been sent, all of which stressed how significant Sunday, December 3, is to the people of Mizoram.
