Education Qualification

  • Flying Branch: Applicants must have passed with at least 50% in math and physics at the 10+2 level, or (a) they must have graduated from a recognised university with at least 60% in a three-year degree study in any subject. OR (b) a BE/B Tech degree (four-year course) from a recognised university with at least 60% or the equivalent. Or (c) Applicants who have passed Parts A and B of the Associate Membership examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with at least 60% marks or the equivalent.
  • Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: Applicants must have at least 50% in both physics and math at the 10+2 level and at least four years of experience in engineering or technology from a recognised university OR they must have passed Sections A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India).   • For non-technical jobs in administration and logistics, you must have passed your 10+2 and a graduate degree (minimum three-year degree course) in any subject from a recognised university with at least 60% marks, or you must have passed sections A and B of the examination to become an associate member of the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with at least 60% marks.
  • For the accounts branch, you need to have passed your 10+2 and graduated from a recognised university with at least 60% in one of the following fields: A Bachelor of Commerce degree (at least three years of study).Bachelor of Business Administration (with a focus on Finance)/Bachelor of Management Studies (with a focus on Finance)/Bachelor of Business Studies (with a focus on Finance) (aab) Certified as a CA, CMA, CS, or CFA.(12) B.Sc.
  • with a focus on FinanceFitness Levels for the Air Force AFCAT Online Form for the 01/2024 Batch – People who want to take the tests at AFSB should be in good physical shape when they show up for SSB. A 10 minute run of 1 mile (1.6 km) and 10 push-ups or chin-ups are what you should be able to do. Aspiring candidates are also told to stay in good shape so that they can handle the physical training they will be doing at AFA. This training includes running, swimming, rope climbing, and other types of fitness.
